It's too expensive for just a gym membership.

How to answerShow the full value beyond equipment: classes, childcare, pools, recovery amenities, and social events included.

$470!? Yikes. I spend a little more than $300 for me, my wife, an our 5-year-old. The childcare alone is worth it and the gym is excellent. But I’m not sure if I’d pay $470/month for it.

The instructors are too cheesy and fake for me.

How to answerOffer variety in instructor styles and let people preview to find coaches whose personality matches their preferences.

Use the trial period. I have friends who hate it because of how cheesy the instructors are but I personally just find them funny and motivating. The classes are accessible yet challenging and can do at home and gym.

I'm not sure if I'll actually use it enough to make it worth it.

How to answerOffer trial periods and show how convenience features (24/7 access, multiple locations) remove barriers to consistency.

I will give my honest assessment. It can be but it is like all fitness tools. You get what you put into it. If you find coaches/ workouts that motivate you and inspire you to workout daily or even every other day you will see a benefit. If you don’t then it won’t work. I would…

Wow. This is the second or third time ive heard something like this. You would think theyd try to make things right rather than ban a member. Thanks for letting me know!

I don't know if the workouts will actually motivate me to stick with it.

I'm locked into a yearly contract even if my situation changes.

How to answerOffer flexible month-to-month options or shorter commitment periods with clear terms about changes.

100% worth it! It’s a month to month membership, they just require 30 days notice for membership changes!

If I don't travel or need 24/7 access, local gyms are cheaper.

How to answerHelp people identify if they match the use cases where premium features justify the cost difference.

If you don't switch to different locations and you won't go to the gym ng off-hours, for me mas sulit ung local gyms. May mga gyms na ngayon na mid-level na okay naman and mas cheaper din.

What these buyers struggle with

I have been going to the gym for months and the mirror looks exactly the same
I bought a whole home gym and now it is a very expensive clothes rack
Every program works for six weeks and then I just stop progressing
