Why AI persona prompts lie to you
The most common complaint under every "10 ChatGPT prompts for your customer avatar" video is the same one: "How is this getting inside the head of your customer if you're asking AI to create the persona?" And: "AI can be inaccurate and making things up. Isn't the market research using AI potentially useless then?"
They are right. A model asked to describe your customer describes the average customer of every business that ever wrote about your category. It is fluent and it is made up.
Every prompt in this handbook does one thing differently. It reads the real comments first. Adlicio pulls the Reddit threads, the YouTube and TikTok comments, the Amazon and Trustpilot reviews, the Facebook posts and the Meta ads, and hands them to Claude as text. Claude then ranks, groups and quotes. It does not invent. Every output you see below came from a real run on a real account, and every quote keeps its upvote count and its link.
The prompts are written as chains. The output of one is the input of the next. Run them in order the first time, then keep the ones your business needs.
Four rules before you start
Say "use all available Adlicio tools" once per conversation.
Claude sometimes answers from memory when a tool would give real data. This line stops that. Every chain below opens with it.
Name the subreddits.
A search without a subreddit list pulls whatever mentions your keyword. Three named subreddits turn a noisy pull into a clean one. Each industry pack lists the right ones.
Say "full mode, every comment" when you want the whole thread.
By default Claude asks for a compact subset to save context. Full mode returns everything Adlicio collected.
Quote people word for word, keep the upvote count, never fill gaps from memory.
Put this in the prompt when it matters. The upvote count is your ranking signal and the link is your proof when a client asks where a line came from.
