03FAQ

Comment picker FAQ

Is the draw fair?

Yes. Winners come from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, not from a server. Every eligible entry has the same chance. The entries CSV is your record of who was in the draw.

Is it free?

Yes. Loading a post and drawing winners is free, and you can draw again as often as you like once the comments are loaded. Without an account, loading comments is limited to a few posts per week per visitor.

Which platforms work?

Instagram posts and reels, TikTok videos, YouTube videos and Shorts, and public Facebook posts, reels and videos. Paste the link and the picker picks the right collector.

Do I need to log in?

No. The picker reads public comments the same way a logged-out browser does. Nobody gets notified and nothing is posted.

How many comments does it collect?

Up to 100 comments plus replies on Instagram and TikTok, up to 300 on YouTube, and up to 300 top-level comments on Facebook, per run. The Adlicio extension and app go far beyond that.

Can I require a friend tag or a hashtag?

Yes. Turn on Must tag a friend to keep only comments with an @mention, and type a word or hashtag in Must include to keep only comments that contain it.

Is this a random winner generator?

Yes. It draws winners at random from the eligible comments, in your browser, and keeps a record of the draw. Paste an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube link to start.
