Troubleshooting

Recover a missing connector, reconnect the right account, or handle pending results. Your saved research stays in your workspace when you reconnect.

Start with the symptom you see. Your saved research stays in your Adlicio workspace when you reconnect.

Adlicio or its tools don't appear#

Check that Adlicio is turned on in the current conversation. Then disconnect and reconnect it in your AI app's connector settings to refresh the tool list. In a team workspace, ask the owner whether custom connectors are allowed.

The connected account is wrong#

Ask Adlicio to check your account with whoami. Disconnect the connector, then connect again and choose the same account you use in the Adlicio app.

A result says pending#

Some collections run in the background. For a deep scrape, use get_deep_scrape with the returned job id. For Instagram, retry the same URL later. Brand research and Voice-of-Customer reports have their own progress tools.

A tool needs credits or a different plan#

Read the response to see whether the limit is your balance, a daily allowance or plan access. Check the tool's plan label and credit cost on the tools page. A tool that costs no credits can still need All Access or Team.

I need comments from a private Facebook group#

Use the Adlicio Chrome extension in your own signed-in browser. The scrape_facebook_group tool queues the search and get_extension_job checks its status. Read the saved comments with get_history_item.

My AI app only supports a local server#

The hosted connector needs remote HTTP support. Use the commentscraper CLI's local stdio MCP setup instead. It is a separate integration.
