How to analyze Amazon reviews with Claude or ChatGPT
Paste an Amazon product link into Claude or ChatGPT and let Adlicio pull the reviews, then ask for complaints, praise and buyer language. No CSV export needed.
The usual way is slow: export the reviews to a CSV, clean the file, then upload it to ChatGPT in parts. With Adlicio connected, you paste the Amazon product link into Claude or ChatGPT. Adlicio pulls the reviews with their star ratings, and the assistant analyzes them in the same chat.
Steps#
- Connect Adlicio to Claude or ChatGPT.
- Copy the product link from Amazon. A link with
/dp/and the product code works best. - Paste it into the chat and say what you want to learn.
- Ask follow-up questions. The reviews stay in the chat, so each question is fast.
Use Adlicio to read the reviews on https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FLYWNYQ. Group the complaints into themes, say how many reviews mention each one, and quote the exact words buyers use. Then do the same for what they love.A real result#
We ran this on the Instant Pot Duo on 27 September 2026. The product showed 4.7 out of 5 from 184,491 ratings, and Adlicio returned 402 reviews with their star ratings.
Even the 5-star reviews hold objections that a listing or an ad can answer:
- "Takes time to build and release pressure"
- "Can have a learning curve for first-time users"
- "High-quality device, but Sauté mode runs a bit cool"
And the praise comes in words you can reuse: "We'll never use a crockpot again" and "Fastest bean in the west".
Tips#
- Split by rating. Ask the assistant to compare the 1 to 3 star reviews with the 4 and 5 star reviews. The low ratings show the problems; the high ratings show why people buy.
- Compare two products. Paste your product and a competitor's in one prompt and ask what buyers praise in one and miss in the other.
- Find the product link first. If you know only the product name, ask Adlicio to find it on Google Shopping.
- Keep the quotes exact. Ask for quotes in the buyers' words, not summaries, if you plan to use them in ads or on a page.
What it costs#
Have 2 credits available before you start. You pay only for the tier that delivers the reviews:
- Stored or archived reviews: 0 credits
- Public featured reviews: 1 credit
- Live reviews: 2 credits
Amazon reviews need All Access & Team. Reading reviews you already pulled from your history costs nothing.
Questions#
Can ChatGPT read Amazon reviews from a link by itself?#
Not reliably. Amazon limits how many reviews a page shows and often blocks automated visits. Adlicio pulls the reviews and gives them to the assistant as text.
Does it work on other Amazon stores?#
Yes. Amazon links from other countries, like amazon.co.uk or amazon.de, work too.
Can I do the same with other review sites?#
Yes. The same steps work for Trustpilot, G2, Walmart, Etsy, Sephora, the App Store, Google Play and more. Paste the page link and ask.
