Search car rentals

Search live car rental prices on Kayak and Skyscanner at the same time, at an airport or anywhere in a city, returned to the same place or one way to another: the cheapest offers from each, cheapest first, with the total and daily price, an example car and its class, the rental company, the site that sells it, whether the desk is in the terminal, a shuttle ride away or in town and its address, seats, bags, free cancellation, mileage, fuel policy and when you pay, plus a booking link or the Kayak search.

Give an airport code (LAX) or a city name (Lisbon, Portugal); a city covers every desk in and around it, the airports included. Prices are in US dollars. Costs 2 credits per search; a search with no cars costs nothing, and the same search again within an hour is free.

Inputs

  • pickup_location (string, required, up to 80 characters): Where the car is picked up: a 3-letter IATA airport code for desks at that airport (LAX, IST, LIS), or a city name for every desk in and around the city, its airports included (Lisbon, Portugal or San Francisco). Add the country or state when the city name is common.
  • pickup_date (string, required, up to 10 characters): Pick-up date, YYYY-MM-DD.
  • dropoff_date (string, required, up to 10 characters): Drop-off date, YYYY-MM-DD.
  • dropoff_location (string, optional, up to 80 characters): Where the car is returned, in the same form, for a one-way rental (Porto, Portugal or SFO). Leave it out to return the car where it was picked up.
  • pickup_time (string, optional, default 10:00, up to 5 characters): Pick-up time as a whole hour, HH:00, local time at the pick-up place. Default 10:00.
  • dropoff_time (string, optional, up to 5 characters): Drop-off time as a whole hour, HH:00. Default the same as pickup_time.
