# Search flights

Search live flight fares on Google Flights and Skyscanner at the same time for one route and date by airport code.

Google Flights gives price, airlines, stops, departure and arrival times, duration, layovers and flight numbers for each option and whether prices are low, typical or high for the route. Skyscanner adds the cheapest fares with the travel agencies and airlines selling each one, their ratings and a booking link. The answer names the cheapest fare from either source. Prices are the total for all adults; on a round trip they are the round-trip total. Costs 1 credit per search; a search with no flights costs nothing, and the same search again within an hour is free.

## Inputs

- **`from`** (string, required, up to 3 characters): Departure airport as a 3-letter IATA code, for example IST for Istanbul Airport. One airport per search: search each airport of a city with several (IST and SAW) separately.
- **`to`** (string, required, up to 3 characters): Arrival airport as a 3-letter IATA code, for example BKK for Bangkok Suvarnabhumi or HKT for Phuket.
- **`depart_date`** (string, required, up to 10 characters): Departure date, YYYY-MM-DD.
- **`return_date`** (string, optional, up to 10 characters): Return date for a round trip, YYYY-MM-DD. Leave out for a one-way search.
- **`cabin`** (string, optional, default `economy`): Cabin class. Default economy. Values: `economy`, `premium_economy`, `business`, `first`.
- **`adults`** (number, optional, default `1`, 1 to 9): Number of adult passengers. Prices are the total for all of them. Default 1.
- **`max_stops`** (number, optional): 0 = nonstop flights only, 1 = at most one stop, 2 = at most two. Leave out for any number of stops. Values: `0`, `1`, `2`.
- **`currency`** (string, optional, default `USD`, up to 3 characters): 3-letter currency code for the prices, for example USD, EUR, GBP or TRY. Default USD.
