--- title: "Quickstart" description: "Connect Adlicio to your AI app, check the connection and run your first research in about two minutes." canonical: https://tryadlicio.com/docs/quickstart --- # Quickstart Connect Adlicio to your AI app, check the connection and run your first research in about two minutes. ## Connect your AI app Choose where you work. Each tab shows the short setup; the Connect pages have every step. Connector URL: https://mcp.tryadlicio.com/mcp - [Claude](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/connect/claude): add a custom connector, then sign in. - [ChatGPT](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/connect/chatgpt): create a developer-mode app with OAuth. - [Other clients](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/connect/other-clients): any client with remote HTTP and OAuth. ## Check your connection Ask your AI app: ```text Check my Adlicio account and remaining credits. ``` This uses the `whoami` tool and no research credits. Your AI app answers with your Adlicio account, plan and remaining credits. If the account is wrong or the tool is missing, read [troubleshooting](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/troubleshooting). ## Ask your first question You do not need to know the tool names. Tell your AI app what you want to learn and ask it to use Adlicio. ```text Research what people on Reddit find frustrating about meal planning. Show recurring problems with direct customer quotes and source links. ``` A Reddit research run costs 1 credit. Read [your first research](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/first-research) for what to do with the answer. ## Next steps - [Your first research](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/first-research): Turn one question into quotes you can use. - [Research guides](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/guides/research-reddit-with-claude-or-chatgpt): Step-by-step jobs with real results. - [Tools](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/tools): Inputs, credit costs and plan access. - [Credits and limits](https://tryadlicio.com/docs/credits): Know the cost before you start.
